Due to Haynes 230 combined properties it is very well suited to a wide variety of component applications in the aero***ce and power industries. Alloy 230 is used for combustion cans, transition ducts, flame holders, thermocouple sheaths and other important gas turbine components. Haynes 230 is solution treated at 2150 to 2275°F followed by rapid cooling, and is supplied in this condition (as per AMS 5891 and AMS 5878).
